Care & Connection
After you have joined a Summit Experience, you will have created lifelong friendships. We encourage everyone to stay connected. In many ways, the full impact of HLI doesn’t even begin until you return home.
Many leaders within the Church Community offer spiritual care and connection to all they serve on a daily basis. But they, too, need to be cared for and to feel connected.
Many Community Leaders bring much needed support to people and groups throughout our community. They cannot go unnoticed and need to refill their tanks as well.
Many Christian Business Leaders seek interaction with Faith Leaders to bring a daily connection to God. But with great potential for impact, they need to ground their work in faith.
While we assume that these Leaders are resilient and tireless, we know they are God’s people, and we must let them know we care—in word and in deed. A long term connection with other members of HLI brings the potential for continuous care and support.
As HLI Advisory Board members and other participants consider and develop formal ways for us to care and connect, we encourage you to follow the leading of your heart to stay in touch with those whom you shared the Summit Experience.
Along the way, we will send a monthly email devotion that includes updates on our work together. We are planning an annual “Reunion” that will bring us together across Summit groups. Quarterly opportunities for connection and care are part of our picture for the future as well.
When life brings change, we will always be there to care.
We invite our past attendees to continue to stay connected. Please request access from Nicole Schnell.
