ORGANIZATION

Our board of directors are committed to building an organization that serves Christian leaders who are changing the world. They are skilled, experienced business, church and community leaders who believe in our mission and work together to make it a reality. All have taken part in a HLI Summit and know the power of this transformational experience. We will evolve our board of directors and advisors over time to ensure that we have the appropriate skills, experience and diversity required to realize our vision.

Designed to fulfill the Mission and continue building the Legacy created by John Hogenson.

Formed in September 2018, the Hogenson Leadership Institute is now a 501(C)(3) Minnesota Non-Profit Organization. Donations are tax deductible.

HLI Board of Directors

Christian leaders who attend the Summit Experience have a broad sphere of influence and impact - pastors who lead large congregations, some as many as 10,000 members; corporate executives with wide spans of control and large employee bases; community leaders whose work touches tens of thousands of lives every year. As they continue their HLI journey, starting with the Summit Experience and continuing with "Care & Connection", we will support them in the impact they make on the world.

  • “I believe the greatest need the Church has right now is for bold, courageous, adaptive leadership. I serve God through the church. So I have an interest in developing leadership for the sake of the church and the world.”

  • “A few years ago, I had the opportunity to participate in the annual sojourn to Wyoming with a wonderful group of people to explore our personal and communal relationship with Jesus. It was life changing in so many aspects that I, (with the consult of my faith-based wife) made the decision to continue to support HLI because I wanted others to experience this transformational event.”

  • “The shifting culture around me, and the shifting sense of call within me, requires some time spent in the wilderness among bright and thoughtful people from many walks of life and professional settings.”
